The official trailer for South Korean romantic comedy/zombie horror series Newtopia has arrived, offering a look at BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo fighting for both love and her life.
Set during the early stages of a zombie outbreak in Seoul, Newtopia follows soldier Jae-yoon (Park Jeong-min) and his girlfriend Young-joo (Jisoo). Well, technically ex-girlfriend. After an argument leads to the couple’s split, Young-joo soon regrets it and resolves to reunite with Jae-yoon. Unfortunately, this ill-timed breakup happens to coincide with a sudden zombie infestation, forcing Young-joo to brave the undead if she wants to be with her boyfriend once more.
Even so, the risk of getting eaten apparently isn’t enough to stop her, prompting long-suffering Jae-yoon to try finding his foolhardy girlfriend as well.
Newtopia arrives Feb. 7 on Prime Video.
